Nature reserves

    Huda lui Papară

    ≈ 300 m

    The longest cave in the Trascău Mountains, in the Bedeleu massif: over 5 km of galleries, with a river that flows into the rock.

    Bedeleu Plateau

    The most imposing limestone plateau in Trascău, with sheer walls hundreds of metres high, right above the village.

    Poarta Zmeilor Cave

    The oldest cave in the Trascău range, at around 1,150 m, with a natural bridge right at the entrance.

    Vânătările Ponorului

    A reserve where the valleys vanish into the limestone; a waterfall of over 25 m that freezes in winter.
